Summit Gastroenterology is one of the premier Gastroenterology practices located on the Rose Medical Center Campus. Established as a solo practice, Dr. Burrows founded Summit Gastroenterology in 2007 with the goal of providing comprehensive, high-quality GI care that’s personable and easy to access, without the extensive wait-times common to many specialty practices.
Born and raised just outside of Boston, Massachusetts, Dr. Aaron Burrows graduated from the University of Massachusetts Medical School in 1999. He completed his medical internship and residency in New York City. Upon completion of his fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology in 2006, Dr. Burrows moved his family to Denver to better take advantage of the myriad of outdoor activities available in Colorado. Dr. Burrows is an avid hiker, cyclist and skier but his true passion remains spending time with his friends and children. He is Board Certified in Gastroenterology and is member of the American Gastroenterological Association and is the 2015 President of Denver Medical Society.
He is specially trained in treating all conditions of the gastrointestinal (GI) tract, which includes the esophagus, stomach, large intestine/colon, liver, pancreas and gallbladder.
